Hey gang,

DJ shows have ended for the spring semester! However, our stream will still be running with new music 24/7 so don’t hesitate to check it out.

In other news, we will be hosting a DJ meeting in the station, 5 pm on Thursday, May 5th!

Be sure to come on down, there will probably be free food/good times.

PS. No promises, but there is a possibility of Wolf Pack Radio hosting summer DJ shows in some capacity. If you’re interested make sure you’re at the meeting!

It’s the last full week of school, and that means it is also the last week of shows for the semester. That means the last shows of the semester will be on Friday, the 29th.

There’s a get together to appreciate y’all on May 5th in JCSU Room 323 from 5-7. Bring some food and we’ll bring some, too.

Every year, Wolf Pack Radio accepts applications for the position of station manager! Here’s the info for those interested:

The Job: Wolf Pack Radio Manager- Wolf Pack Radio is the official undergraduate radio station for the University of Nevada, Reno. Initiated in 2001 by a group of student radio connoisseurs, Wolf Pack Radio is gaining steam on the university scene. The first of its kind in the entire state of Nevada, Wolf Pack Radio is pioneering the way for this student run radio station to move from AM to FM.

Applications are due April 13th at 5pm.  Selection will happen on Sat. April 16th between 10am-2pm in The Joe 323.

Monday, February 21 (President’s Day)
March 14-18 (Spring Break)
The last week of shows is Monday, April 25 – Friday, April 29

And, depending on the weather, we’ll let you know for tomorrow. As of right now, they’re on.

We’re finally going to get rid of the old sweepers (i.e.DJ SHOCKAMAN saying “That song was…you know what that song was!) and replace that with brand new sweepers done recorded by people who actually DJ and work at the radio station and not people who no one has even met. Super cool, right?
Saturday, February 12 at 11am in the station: The best sweeper day that ever was.

Also: check out our featured show of the week on the top tab thingie. If you’re a DJ please try to do a short shout out to the weekly show. (It’s called cross promotion, cool guys do it!)

Shows have begun once again, meaning that you can now turn in for all that WPR programming you crave!

Also, check out the new spring schedule and be aware we have a meeting this Thursday (1/27) at 7 in the Presidential Chambers of the ASUN building. The meeting is mandatory for new DJs, older DJs/fans of the station are encouraged to come as well. There’ll probably be free pizza.
