Volunteer Opportunities

Are you a University of Nevada student interested in…

Current independent music?

The local music scene?

Music journalism?

We are looking for music experts, journalists and photographers. Listed below are the volunteer opportunities within Wolf Pack Radio.

Host a Radio Show

Wolf Pack Radio broadcasts freeform programming where DJs have creative control and freedom to play what they want on their radio show regardless of commercial interests. DJs are expected to remain true to college radio and create programming that is in line with the station’s mission statement: “Devoted to broadening musical tastes in Reno while adding to, supporting and growing the local cultural landscape.”

Applications are currently closed. Check back later to apply for Spring 2017!

Journalists & Bloggers

We need writers for our blog that are interested in writing about current music that is not played on commercial radio. This is an opportunity to grow your portfolio, get your work published, and gain experience writing for a music blog. Check-out our zine here!

For more information, please contact caroline@wolfpackradio.org.

Photographers

We need people that love live music and want to help capture Reno’s scene through photograph that will be published on our blog and other publications.

For more information, contact Abby, our Creative Director, at webmaster@wolfpackradio.org.

Submit a Mix

We accept original DJ set or mixes created by UNR Students that will then be aired on Wolf Pack Radio. This is a great way to get your own work broadcasted to a large audience and a alternative to hosting a weekly radio show.

Please submit mixes with a detailed playlist to Cameron, our Program Director, at cameron@wolfpackradio.org.

If you have any questions or alternative ways you would like to help Wolf Pack Radio please reach out to Caroline, our General Manager, at caroline@wolfpackradio.org.

Wolf Pack Radio is 100% student-run and our success relies on our dedicated volunteers!
